I received my end of year report from wordpress a few weeks ago and to my delight it showed that WEAR MORE BADGES is big in Brazil! So here is an appropriate badge to say hi to those reading in Brazil!

In December I travelled all the way to Dallas, Texas in America to see the Blood and Thunder Roller Derby World Cup. There were 30 teams taking part in the four day tournament. It was so exciting to see the best players in the world come together for the tournament. Needless to say there was a lot of merch and I did my best to get every country’s badge or sticker! I will show off more of these in future posts, but Brazil’s offering became my favourite badge for its sleek and clean design. It takes inspiration from the country’s flag and the track which derby is played on with the spots and stars representing blockers and jammers respectively. I also love the shine the natural metal silver finish of the background.
